Sen. Jon Ford (R) of Terre Haute is the new chair of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS). NCLGS will hold its annual winter meeting in Las Vegas December 8-11, and Sen. Ford is set to present the NCLGS Safer Gaming Draft Resolution, a product of the Safer Gaming Resolution Working Group he helped lead. He will also moderate a panel titled, “Fighting Illegal Gambling: How a Legal, Regulated Industry Can Win.” Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah Taylor will also be a presenter on a panel examining lotteries.
