The Indiana Gaming Commission approves an expensive settlement agreement with Horseshoe Indianapolis, agreeing to a $73,500 payment to address about nine assorted deficiencies. The two most serious involved multiple issues with internal controls related to personnel and operations of the poker cage, and violations of internal controls governing gaming activities in emergency response situations, which involved an incident in which surveillance and other key systems were briefly compromised. Horseshoe Indianapolis also agreed to take appropriate corrective action.
