Gina Leichty (D), the choice of Goshen Mayor Jeremy Stutsman (D) to succeed him upon his mid-June resignation, is selected in a Democratic precinct caucus to finish his term as well as fill his position on the November ballot. The longtime local business owner and downtown advocate has served on assorted community boards and commissions. She will face Bill Malone (R) in the general election this fall.
