Rep. Craig Haggard (R) makes it clear that he’s not looking to primary U.S. Rep. Jim Baird (R) in CD 04, but is just gearing up a campaign so as not to be late to the game should the three-term lawmaker, who turns 78 in June, not seek a fourth term (looking back to Hoosiers who served in Congress from 1970 on, the only Indiana House member older than 70 who sought re-election was then-U.S. Rep. Dan Burton (R) in 2010 at the age of 72).
