The Indiana Gaming Commission is inviting all businesses to participate in a 15-minute survey and share their experiences bidding and contracting with Indiana’s casinos. Minority- and women-owned businesses and businesses who are ready, willing, and able but have not had the opportunity to bid for a casino project are especially encouraged to participate. The survey results will be aggregated as part of IGC’s next five-year disparity study as required by state law. IGC is also asking all businesses to participate in a listening session to detail their casino bidding and contracting experiences with Indiana’s casinos. MBE and WBE and businesses who are ready, willing, and able – but have not had the opportunity to bid for a casino project – are especially encouraged to participate. Themes from the listening session feedback will inform IGC’s five-year disparity study as required by state law. A trio of listening sessions via Zoom were held November 15-17. Expect a report to the full Commission at its December 15 meeting.
