Hoosiers for Election Integrity, the Virginia-based political action committee that registered in Indiana at the end of May to “focus on issues and candidates related to election integrity” disbands during August after receiving one contribution and with itemized spending in June on a Texas-based firm for “Election advertising and advocacy.” That $7,758 expenditure (which we suspect was made in the secretary of state nomination race) and a $25 unitemized expenditure were covered by an August 17 contribution by American Values First, a single-candidate super PAC formed in 2017 in support of a former secretary of state – then-U.S. Rep. Todd Rokita (R) and his 2018 U.S. Senate primary campaign.
