The three races that Republicans seem most concerned about in the wake of the special session – after earlier feeling relatively good about each: retaining Sen. Kyle Walker (R), picking up the seat of Sen. J.D. Ford (D), and winning the open seat in Carmel/ Indianapolis in which Hamilton County Council member Fred Glynn (R) was nominated, after a primary recount that last through much of July . . . but on the flip side, they seem to feel better about perhaps gaining the newly created Fort Wayne House seat that is at least marginally Democratic.
