Fort Wayne native Nathan Gotsch (I) hopes to shake things up with his independent candidacy in CD 03. You may recall his work with the Fort Wayne Observed blog that helped to derail the Kelty 2007 Fort Wayne mayoral campaign and led to the candidate’s felony conviction. He’s been a filmmaker in Southern California who returned home to teach film and video classes at Concordia Lutheran High School, his alma mater. During the pandemic, he led an organization focused on fighting Covid in Northeast Indiana – work that required building coalitions and partnering with local governments and other civic organizations. The Gotsch campaign submitted 7,001 clerk-validated signatures to the Office of the Secretary of State for ballot access, well in excess of the 4,598 required by law.
