You’ll see a few minor adjustments in the plans for the Queen of Terre Haute Casino Resort: with the changes in the ingress road, planners, as we believe we’ve told you, opt to change the orientation of the hotel, and now, to alleviate any potential concerns from the Federal Aviation Administration about the tall structure being constructed not far from Terre Haute Regional Airport, the physical footprint of the hotel itself will be shifted by about 100 feet – which will not be noticeable on the 50-acre site. What guests will notice: the rooftop pool is now being moved to ground level, not only easing all sorts of logistics and lowering construction costs, but freeing up more space on the rooftop for entertainment and related options, likely a more important positive long-term decision.
