School districts continue to cash in on the trend to add naming rights to their facilities to help address budget deficiencies. Most recently, the Interra Credit Union logo now adorns the Goshen High School court, after the gym was renamed the Interra Gym last year. Interra’s name is also on the Northridge High School football field. In addition, Penn High School in Mishawaka has sponsorship for its football field, baseball field and a concession stand inside its gymnasium. At Northridge, Interra offered $50,000 to have naming rights to the football field, the Goshen News reports. We see no signs that this trend may abate in the near future.
