Silver Express in Indianapolis remains the state’s leading Hoosier Lottery retailer for a fourth consecutive month, the longest such streak since Southside Marathon, LLC of Fort Wayne in 2020, and the state’s longest streak since a six-month run by MCR Short Stop of Portage in 2019- 20. Silver Express and Fort Wayne’s Grand Food Junction constitute the state’s 1-2 podium punch for each month in the first quarter of 2022. The last time we had seen the same two retailers hold down the top two spots in the same order before this stretch was November – December of 2020. With its March statewide preeminence (it has been in first place in all but two months of February since 2015), Silver Express becomes the Cal Ripken, Jr. of the retailer world, maintaining its unprecedented string of podium finishes, a streak stretching all the way back to December 2014. Silver Express has placed first statewide during March in seven of the last nine years.
