Horseshoe Indianapolis increases its table-game capacity by almost one-third in January, growing from 71 tables on New Year’s Eve to 92 entering January, a huge statement of its intent to dominate the market and pull in high-stakes players from other far-flung properties. In one fell swoop, the former Indiana Grand soars from fifth in the state in the number of table games to second . . . although many of the new additions are dedicated to poker. Thanks to the physical casino expansion, Horseshoe Indianapolis has been able to precisely double its number of table games since Halloween, when it made 46 available for play. No other casino has even grown its table inventory at all since September.
